Water Ministry Update

The Water project in Kenya began to allow the ministry to purify its water so that it could bottle water to generate funds for student scholarships to Divine Providence Training Center, improve the living conditions at our retreat center, provide clean water to the local community, and to utilize other filters and carrying devices for our pastors who serve in rural areas.

The majority of our pastors serve in areas where access to clean water is not an easy process. Women often walk many hours and miles over rugged terrain to bring back water to their villages. The water is usually from an unclean source and needs to be filtered. In order to assist in getting clean water to these remote regions, DPTC has partnered with two other ministries: Uzima and Partners for Care. Uzima sells simple filtration devices that have no electrical costs and can provide families with clean water for up to 10 years. Partners for Care have designed a lightweight back pack so that individuals can carry large amounts of water home without injuring their necks and backs.

Your donations make this possible. It allows us to train our Pastors in how to deliver the Living Water of the Gospel and to deliver clean water to those who need it most.
