Camp Chemi Chemi Road is getting repaired!
In the past, we have struggled with transportation in and out of Chemi Chemi due to the road’s rough terrain and many potholes. Whether transporting a group of Americans on a mission trip, a group of pastors on mission, or any other day to day errands, getting in and out of the camp is essential for us to continue to function appropriately. Therefore, a grant was requested to help assist Divine Providence in fixing the road leading up to Chemi Chemi.
And the good news is, the grant was approved! This has allowed us to move forward with road construction, and we are so excited to share the progress with you. As changes have been made to the road, we have also been delighted to see a positive response from the community and neighbors surrounding Chemi Chemi. By fixing the road, the community has been able to see firsthand that Divine Providence is supportive and cares for them, which is a beautiful relationship to strengthen and celebrate.
We look forward to the ease that these improvements will allow transportation in and out of Camp Chemi Chemi, and the continued positive relations with Chemi Chemi’s neighbors. It is because of your support that we are able to initiate these changes within Chemi Chemi to continue to support our mission of pastoral training and spreading the gospel. We are grateful for each and every one of your influences!
